An old favourite that I have just re-read. I very much recommend it to anyone.

He was questionable with us at best. Had some great calls every now and then but was just as prone or more prone to make idiotic calls that made no sense (thus the nick name of Bozo). haven't paid attention to him as a head coach.

The CSU fans I have talked to have expressed similar frustrations to those. As well as a lot of bad penalties from the team as well.

Honestly most Georgia fans I talked to were perplexed that he somehow managed to find a head coaching job. We never really blamed him for penalties (I think that was blamed on the coaches hating us for that Florida game endzone celebration) but we did lead the nation in penalties per game for a few years while he was there.

i hate penalties you know the rules fucken play by them stupid fotball teams... I understand your happy about scoring a tochdown. just try to be professional. but i guess penalties come down to a culture of discplean. if your team is has some structer of discplean they will not do it. coaches that ignore that fact make me super angry. It just not fun to watch football when there is a penelty every time you have the ball.

Well to some extent it was the refs for us. The officiating team that called the Florida game was even banned from reffing Georgia games for a while because the bad calls were so blatantly against us. Other refs seemed more than happy to make sure that more than a few questionable penalties were called against us.

On this? doubtful I do it at all. Probably I'll spring for a new laptop once some money comes in.

I think CSU was trying to do what they did with McElwain from Alabama. Strike gold from a SEC team that usually has a good offense. Though they've been struggling since.

If they knew anything they would have known that Georgia's offense was good because we consistently get some of the best running backs and QBs out of high school in the country (and we not too uncommonly strike gold at receiver as well) something we've done since long before Bozo led the offense. Need proof just look at some of the NFL players who are Georgia graduates. Matthew Stafford, starting QB and seen as a pretty decent one. AJ Green, one of hte better receivers in the league. Knowshon Moreno, not the best out there but he's had some success at running back, at least enough to keep him relevant. And, while it's too early to say definitively, Todd Gurley has gotten a bit of praise for his running so far. Furthermore, there was nothing really genius level about Alabama's offense under McElwain. Ground and pound mostly relying on oversized line men to block for skilled RBs and simply rely on the QB to play decently and not turn the ball over while letting the defense do its thing. I am not saying he is a bad coordinator, in fact from what I've seen he was a better fit at Bama than Kiffin is but the way Bama's offense worked while he was there wasn't exactly rocket science.

Yes Bobo had some good recruiting classes but he was in a better position than most, riding the wave that he got with Georgia being a winning team in a BCS conference and from 2007 on especially, a winning team in what looked to be college football's lead conference.

Only thing CSU has going for them, out of that list, is Rashad Higgins, who is a very good receiver, but they lost not only their best QB ever to graduation, but both their #1 and #2 RBs.

But also, according to a good number of CSU fans, prior to the season anyway, was that they would be conference champs and go to the Big 12/PAC-12 somehow. And then they lost to Colorado. Who has not been good in forever.

Well, got a call for jury duty for next Tuesday. I go to the courthouse for the interview and see if I get selected. Only issues are;
1. In the morning I go to Fort Collins to see a doctor about my ankle.
2. Said doctor may schedule surgery.
3. Been working on my mom's apartment to make it more handicap accessible while she does PT at the nursing home.
4. She was taken to the nursing home about a month ago due to a very bad UTI, combined with her MS meant she was hallucinating big time and in no shape to be home alone.
5. She is pretty much 100% now and remembers basically nothing when she was hallucinating (for the better), she's just there for the therapy.
So YAY on more things I really didn't need to deal with (jury duty) in a relatively short expanse in time.

On a more positive note;
Do you know what soundtrack this song is from without looking it up? Hint: It's not the scenes in the video.
