Just an update to all the basketball heads out there.

My NBA tourney still has 11 spots open. It features a more complex scoring system, but a fun tourney to carry us through the rest of the NBA season.

We've got half of our Final Four set...congrats to shoop76 and the #3 seed South Carolina Gamecocks, along with bada0bing and the #15 seed Arizona State Sun Devils.

Oh shoot. That's what happens when I send games from home.

I'll double check, and recreate the Final Four matchups if necessary.

It should be Nebraska vs. Arizona State AND Louisville vs. South Carolina.

Dang...I screwed up the Final Four matchups. We'll play out the maps that went out, but I'll be resending the correct and official matchups in the next 48 hours.

Shoop76 and PereiroSaus played a thrilling semifinal game with shoop's South Carolina squad pulling off the 68-67 win (and yes, whenever it's that close, I double-check the score tabulations). Well done to both. The Gamecocks advance to the title game, and Louisville gets a chance for redemption on the third-place game. Well played to both of you.

Also of note: This year's Final Four teams combined for a total record of 92-39.

Our finale is set with South Carolina going up against Arizona State in the championship game. Well done shoop76 and Bada0Bing

We are still active in this tourney with the Third-Place game still to be finished.

But we can announce that Bada0Bing is our official champion, coming through the bracket as a No. 15 seed to claim the crown with the Arizona State Sun Devils. Quite the impressive march. Well done Bada ...
