Question on Reserves

Postby iamkoolerthanu on Sat Jan 30, 2010 4:53 pm

Battle Of the Favorites

In that tourny I am hosting, map and settings are specific for each player.. So what if one of them drops out? How would I replace them with a reserve effectively?

The best thing would be that the reserves also have their own home-map,

There are basically 6 games:
  • 3 with a homemap of the player that stays, for which you could send in invitation to the reserve (see if he/she shows up  )
  • 3 of the dropped player, simply drop those games as well
  • make 3 new games with the home-map of the reserve and send new invitaions to both players
Success O:)

Wat if there is a drop-out in lets say, round 5? Would I re-do rounds 1,2,3, and 4 for the players that challenged the drop-out? Or would I just continue from round 5 with the reserve, using the win/loss score that the drop-out had for the reserve?

Personally I would take one of the "killed" persons from round 4 to replace a drop-out of round 5
He or she already played rounds 1,2,3,4 O:)

It is a non-elimination tourny
