Just to clarify; each category is run as a separate, independent series. And each tournament is run as a tournament in its own right, you don't need to join the series for the long haul to play.
I am starting a series of bracket tournaments based on the schedule of the FIM Motorcycle Grand Prix circuit. There are four categories: MotoGP (Quads), Moto2 (trips), 125cc (dubs) and superbike (singles). Each will consist of 18 races, all played as individual tournaments.
The four overall scoreboards will be updated here, and there will be a GA medal and one year of premium as price for the winners. In the team categories the one year of premium will have to be divided among the team-members (in any way the team chooses). (The GA medals are awarded on the condition that all 18 tournaments in that category are successfully completed.)
Each tournament will be in sign-ups for two weeks, there will be no limitation on how many can sign up. We will use a qualifying round to narrow the number down to one that fits into a bracket.
In the qualifying round all winners go through to the tournament. While the losers will be ordered by how many rounds their game lasted, the more rounds the better.
For the team categories, the team has to be identical in all tournaments for it to accumulate points. If any one player is replaced between tournaments, the team will have to start at the bottom of the scoreboard.
