Option To Make Private Games Go Public

Postby tals on Wed Sep 20, 2006 6:35 am

I've setup a private game but whether I get to my 6 slots i'm not sure yet - i've invited a couple of Non CC players, if they don't join then I really want to start the game as is.

That won't be an unusual position as I have some forums I particpate in where I want to get some games rolling - but would prefer to keep it within people in those areas - rather than opening it up to a wider audience.

Idea for Private games

Postby Jamie on Fri Jan 12, 2007 2:37 pm

How bout they make it so that when you set up a private ame, we get the option of removing the password, so that when we set up a private doubles game, and the person we want to be our P joins, we can then drop the PW, so that anyone can join.

Is there a way?

Postby luckiekevin on Wed Feb 07, 2007 10:26 pm

Is there a way to put a password on a game you set up, say a doubles game, Then once your teammate joins you, you can pull the pw off so that other teams can enter? I'm just trying to synchronize setting up some doubles games with someone and we just aren't ever on line at the same time ever and I don't want to set up a doubles game and have someone i didn't intend to join my team.

If not, would this be an appropriate suggestion?
