So I'm in two or three games on the Conquer Man map because it looked like it would be fun... Now I'm watching everyone gaining major momentum while I'm not getting very far. That could just be because I've been having pretty bad rolls but I'm still wondering, what strategies do people suggest? Should you go for the cupcake and hope that you don't get into a war that keeps draining you until you lose it? Should you go on a rampage to get as many territories as possible? Should you try to confuse everyone by capturing all of the ghosts and then press up up down down left right left right B A Start? I could really use some suggestions (oh and I have already figured out that you should turn off BOB on that map... at least turn off the text map)

the best strategy to use when playing me is to go for conquerman and all the ghosts. if you can achieve that i am likely to stay away from you.

Wow, that strategy is a bit too hardcore for me... I wonder if you can get a negative deployment that way... but seriously people, other than not playing the map... what do people suggest?

The diamonds are great and also in fog games the conquer man and cupcake are viable but I love the diamonds since of the ability to easily get others once you have the first

Regardless, the first Round may become the most important round since you can set it up... Stay away from the Aliens until you have ConquerMan and the correct Diamond, unless you must eliminate a player in the following attack (a common impulse that sometimes backfires the following round). Take the fight one row at a time.

Remember, no Territory in this map is Safe, so if you are able to, turn in your Cards and fortify quickly.

Diamonds are obvious.
Stay away from the yellow dude, if you happen to accidentally conquer a ghost, then you're in a shitty position.
The cupcake is a gamble anyday. if you feel that you can hold it one round, I'd go for it.

other then that, I mostly go with the flow.

I'm battling a guy for cupcake position now and he's winning by attrition. I own the Conquer Man but he's getting an extra 4 for my extra 2. Unless you get cards I don't think you can overcome that. Of course, there's always the dice but you never know with random.org
