C...thanks for helping out with the file for Qwert....sorry i couldn't attend to it this morning but i had to get to RL work. ;)

I have run that file you posted above through the XML checker and while it comes up with a green light, there is a message below on that same results page:

Test results:
Warning: Territory 101 Parachute Division has no borders
Warning: Territory XIX TAC Air Force has border 101 Parachute Division, but not vice versa
Summary: 0 errors and 2 warnings detected in WWII_Ardennes_Offensive_150508.xml (10 continents, 73 territories)

I had to save your file over the top of my 150508.xml file so alleviate all the - hyphens from the copy and paste routine. Don't know what this results is all about. Can you have another look please. :)

I like the WW2 topics maps...just started this game and there is an inbalance detected:
How come there are no connections between 62Volks and 2SS , or 18Volks and 1SS, or 3Para and 12Volks ?

The roads in reality were there(you even drew them!, it is a map, so one should be able to use them.
What you see now is that anyone having a slight majority in the German HQ area will knock out opposition one by one (no-one other pours in his troops because of probable "benefits" elsewhere) and be able to lock it up by securing only TWO choke points:LXVI (or IIss north) and VII (south) !
By having this area secured, the player is only ONE target away of securing bonusses; only +1PanzerArmee(SS up north) or +1 para (near bastogne).

My suggestion is to add these roadlinks asap for more balanced gameplay.

I apologize if this has already been said.

It says on the map, SLZ can attack SDC.

I found out the hard way it's not the other way around.

I suggest that it be changed to 'SLZ can attack SDC, but not vice versa' or something.

Let se,Hold North II SS Korps,and hold south VII InfantrieArmee,these you mean.I think that these is good balanced,first he must take 11 Units and player will get only 2 for bonuses,and these is preaty small prize for these Achive in batleground.And i belive that other players will not siting and watching how one player taking 11 terittories in easy way.Like i say before these map is not create to be balanced for 1v1.

By having this area secured, the player is only ONE target away of securing bonusses; only +1PanzerArmee(SS up north) or +1 para (near bastogne).

These second i dont quit understand.

I have very long discusion abouth that and we find that people will understand that Slz can Attack SDZ, will be most best for these.

Minor problem with the XML :

FallschirmjȨger should be Fallschirmjäger

I'd probably argue that it should be an 'a' instead of 'a umlaut' as it causes problems with BOB
searching for it in the dropdown.

Just spoke to yeti_c and it's ok to just correct the code from &#x228 to &#228
as it's not a good reason to prevent maps from using correct names just because scripts can't currently handle them.

These second i dont quit understand.


Maybe in the condition that there are only a few players (2 or 3) then the others would not allow this taking to happen. But in case of 5,6 or more players (I am in one now) no one can really spare troops to do that.
But what was the idea behind it anyway? The germans swooped around Bastogne left and right..from east to west..not like you make it seem now with a colonne of SS tanks from North-East diagonally to south -west.
There are roads so allow players to move criss-cross..now there are two unnatural choke points created..

have a look on game Game 2513729 and note the path of the red player, and the fact that I noticed it publicly already before, but how noone wanted and could place troops there.

Just put a road or two in that big empty space and it will improve the map considerably.

Hmm,i look map and i realy dont understand how you alove red to hold these large are,but you can easy brake hes weak defence lines,but you must work together,
3 way to brake weak red defence.
Yelow from US III CORPS-80 Infantry division-352VG DIVISION-LXXXV CORPS-VII ARMEE.
Yelow from LEHR-9Panzer DIVISION-26VG DIVISION-LXXXV KORPS-VII ARMEE
GRAY from 12SSPanzerDIvision-12VG Division-IISS KORPS-LXVI KORPS.
ORANGE Also can brake form 3PG division.
So only what you need its to cooperate for 2 turns and red will be devastate,because he have very weak defence.
