They stole the name from another company because they were threatening to sue them. It was crespo or something like that. Crisco ?

Meh. No HSDPA = no point. 5 years ahead my ass.

Maybe I'll think about getting one when they give it HSDPA and GPS. And if I don't have to use itunes.

It is pretty though.

yeah they stole it from cisco networking, which was an old phone for your house that connected to the net i think. My own personal theory is that cisco purposefully named their product that in anticipation for apples line of products, knowing that they could sell the name to them years up the road. On the product itself?

Bad ass. It has its own operating system (os x)!!!

Its not all too practical as it only gets 5 hours battery life with everything excluding audio playback(MP3), and they only make up to 8 gigs for which for all the music, phone functions, internet browsers, ect.

I went to the apple convention and looked at it behind the three inches of bullet proof glass and right under it was a pre order list already up to 40K people from around the world (within the first 2 hours!!!). By the time they get their order within the year, it will outdate itself. So .....i guess its the waiting game.....

It's a telephone. It will not make you more successful, sexier, happier or more fulfilled. It will, however, make you slightly poorer, and eventually slightly distressed when it gets stolen/breaks down/becomes obsolete. Mobile phones suck anyway. What a shitty invention. Once you own one you can never escape.
