Could be fun to play... like Italy or France or any other one like that... you might want to put some impassable though...

Looks ok for a start.

You're right, there should be a Spain map - and it would be a convenient shape too.

Hope you get support for this.

Now you will need to increase the size, label all of the territories, make bonuses for each Provence, maybe a capital bonus but worry about GP later, first just make it a feasible map then we can talk "extras"
You must make is about, roughly this size

Ignore the map just the size
and Good Luck!

i have backpacked most of spain and would love to play on a just spain map
the geography is great and i think impassable would be easy to figure out
maybe have bonuses for the the Alhambra and/or other monuments and places of interest

I like the idea of having a Spain map. Im surprised that one hasn't already been made.

If you do make it though it seems strange to exclude the surrounding areas. Maybe add them in, not as territories of course, but kind of like what Sailor has done with his map?

Partially my reason for posting it, also play to the fact that their is a country within Spain, make that into a useful impassible, also include rivers as impassible

Thanks for the support guys,
I'll try to fix the size, what does "gp" stand for (graphics?)? >Sailor Seal
I'll gladly add sorrounding areas (I like to see countries filled in with their national flag!) >Bryguy
I'll add some impassables aswell, >ppgangster
and lastly, I'll look for some nice bonuses for landmarks, >Danyael

Although I'm gonna need help with the graphics for sure, unless the admins decide to permit a map being made with paint.

gp = Gameplay (i.e. bonuses, impassables, etc.)
And no, Paint is generally not allowed, unless you're the guy who painted the Mona Lisa in Paint …
This is a good start and definitely has a lot of promise :)

Thanks, it's good to have their links in a single place. I've now added some impassables and updated the territories.

I saw that, nice job... you might want to get Photoshop or Gimp or any other program to help you with the graphics... Photoshop is good because you can work with layers... take them of or work on something specific without having to redraw everything.

It could be a little confusing at first, but I am sure you can get around it! If you don't mind cracking older version of programs (Adobe Photoshop CS3 - that means if you can't afford it) I would recommend a version that is not sold anymore. They are usually stable and there is a lot you can do with it. I know cracking programs is bad, but my little philosophy on it is simple, 3 rules: (before I get accused of anything and everything... )

•You don't make money using it, why not!
•It is an older version they don't provide support for anymore, why not!
•The community can benifit from your work at no cost, why not!

So you are the judge... or you pass down the idea of graphics to someone that would like to help you (I am sorry I can help, I am no good with graphics...)

  • I'll see into that Danyael.
  • Well, I've allready got gimp, I'm good ad it but to be frank, I find hard making a map.
  • I think I may get someone to do the graphics for me, basicly as a co-cartographer.
