Hello mates I would like to enjoy playing triples:

1. Choose the name of a team
(football team? a friend of mine said "it may as well be burger eating championships" )
This is going to be the name of your team for the tournament and for the mates who want to be in your team(if you have not a triple team yet).
2. The captain of the team chooses map & settings for home games.
3. Of course a team need 3 players, when the team is complete they will be included in the list . Each team will be in a league involving for each team - once home-and-away against each opponent.
4. The winner of that league will be the winner of the tournament.

Of course all the games are Triple. To participate press "PostReply" and make your choice.
We need at least 24 players (8 teams) to begin, this doesnt mean that we cannot accept some more team.

How to make classification ? We count the winning games.
If more than one got the same points? They are going to play once a 3 games match -home-away-neutral against each team with the same points.

there will be 2 groups of 4 teams each?

are you saying we are playing one team 6 times and playing all teams in that group which is 3 teams for a total of 18 games?

then are you saying top 2 teams with best winning records of each group go into the final round with 4 teams?

if so, do points carry over? and most points wins the whole thing?


I think you need to do a little more clarifying here, keep it simple so all understand and know what we all are getting into here?

i think what he meant is there will be 2 groups, 4 teams each. you will face every team from your group twice(once on your home map, once on your opponents home map), which brings total of 6 played games for each team in first round. first two teams from both groups will go to the second round.
in my understanding, second round will have one group, 4 teams. again, youll face each team twice. points from first round will not be carried over, and a winner of second round will be a winner of the tournament.

in short, if you are lucky you will lose only twice to us(in final group), or if youre unlucky, you will lose 4 times(if we face each other in preliminary phase)

if so, do points carry over? and most points wins the whole thing? I am sorry I didn't explain... final phase is separately... so first group it is just to classify and final is again 6 games (3 home and 3 away)


I think you need to do a little more clarifying here, keep it simple so all understand and know what we all are getting into here? yes, you are right, in other tournaments I see too much information in the first post nobody reads it. As you saw I was thinking that everybody can choose how to play just for fun, but it is open to ideas... for example about the number of games... I think 6 total games to qualify for next round is a good number... also I should clarify what happens if 2nd and 3rd would get the same points... I will explain all of this details as soon as I am able... in the second post, but I really think they are not necesary to know who wants to participate
