[Official] Germany Revamp

This is an ugly map. Can it. Bring back the original. Quite a few people that I regularly play avoid this map now, as do I. Get rid of it.

Yeah. I don't mean to be harsh, but I really like the original more than this new map. The original is clearer and easier on the eyes. Would you consider bringing back the old map please?

over 2 months later... and not a single update... Foundry FAIL... Not all of the people, moreso the process...

maybe until this map was finished they should of left the old one out there. What if this takes another year?

Everything is pretty cool with this map except the colors. I think with a bit of tweaking it could be a quick fix. They are just too bright and vivid. tone em down a little, and then see if it garners more interest. good luck pep.

It won't. Benn's got a process in place for such things. Expect him to announce more about it soon.

yawn we have all heard this before.... What a total mess this was from start to finish.... Germany which had 200+ games going at all times, is now under 50 ... another map killed. Thanks foundry

has there ever been a reversed revamp cause of disaster? Im sure eventually i can get used to this new one but getting used to and liking a new version totally different. Anyways we will see how much longer this will take.

Um, what? "another map killed"? We can debate on whether or not the Germany revamp works, but I can't for the life of me think of what you even mean there by implying that that the revamp process has "killed" other maps.

And before getting snooty, I think you might want to bear in mind that it's only due to the thousands upon thousands of hours of time put into mapmaking by members of the foundry that this site has such a bounty of maps in the first place.

Well put! Other than a few individuals who operate the "business side" of CC, this site is predominantly a collection of volunteers who contribute many hours in mapmaking, running tournaments and moderating.
To bitch about aspects which are being offered completely gratis - and often thanklessly - is like being invited to dinner, being served lasagna and then complaining that you would have preferred prime rib.
