Blatant northern-hemisphere-centric rubbish view!

Until we have Brazil Apocolypse, Argentina Map Pack, Cocaine Route, Columbian Jungle Warfare etc etc etc, we wont even be half-way to having "that continent covered".

Would be interesting to incorporate central america too - although it would be tricky game-play-wise as there would be a crazy columbian bottleneck (unless there are mexico to chile sea-routes or similar).

Nice map - stick with it :D

It's the age-old question, asked by mankind since the dawn of times.

- how many territories must a man walk down?
- 42

someone complained about 48 sucking for two player..
whoever goes first gets to start with 16 territories, and gets to deploy 5 (possibly taking their opponent down to only four men their first turn)

Agree (and 12 regions in a 4 players game)
42 is a better number in my opinion

i like the look of this series alot, and am very interested in seeing if you will do a First Nations Of Central America, an area with interesting geography, history and is horrendously under represented.

No major pressing issues minus the bridges which look horrible imo.

Also the guy who commented south america is "covered" is talking bullshit. North america has Canada, USA, USA map pack, US rail, USA Apocalypse, US civil war and so on. Wake up.

you should read before you post

Central America isn't horrendously under represented.. I have an update, which includes more of Central America, that I haven't posted (which I stated above, along with the fact that I said I needed bridges still)

Sweet map. Great addition.

I do agree with DJ Teflon. Panama should be included. You could make a small bonus region. Think I saw ya say next revision.

Falkland islands are also missing.

You could easily up the terts and with neutral coding not make it too uncomfortable for 1v1.

Looks like ya could use more mountain barriers southern tip area.

True
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_the_Falkland_Islands#Pre-European_discovery

The Falkland Islands were uninhabited when discovered by Europeans, but recent discoveries of arrowheads in Lafonia (on the southern half of East Falkland) as well as the remains of a wooden canoe provide strong evidence that they had been visited previously, most likely by the Yaghan people of Tierra del Fuego. It has also been suggested that the Falkland Island foxes, or warrahs, found on the islands were introduced by the Yaghans or another Amerindian tribe, bearing as they did a resemblance to the culpeo or Fuegian fox. It is not known if these are evidence of one-way journeys, but there is no known evidence of pre-Columbian buildings or structures.

I've searched something for your bridges, but for now I've not found anything that is good for your map. The hunt continues... ;)

For bridges use canoes.

I get the whole thing about 42 being the "perfect number," but in all honesty it gets old. Try something new, eh?

Oh, and I like those bridges if you overlay some grunge on em

I just noticed canoes are used on North America First Nations. Why not use em here too? It is the sister map of this one.

Looks like ya could use more mountain barriers southern tip area.

Very nice work btw. Really enjoy the N.A. map.

I like image 1 of the two you posted.

Umm some other thoughts
haurpe territory isnt capatilised
bonus for south andes too high?
bonus for patagonia too high?
also north andes/meso-america bonus levels...
though gameplay can be talked about later i guess

Haurpe is capitalized.. it's just the font(which I love and am not changing)

I'll lower S. Andes and Patagonia to 5..
but I don't think N. Andes and MesoAmerica need lowered. N. Andes has three borders and is only a plus two. the two bonus combined makes 9 territories...

and fair enough with haurpe...if there isnt a capital H

About bridges...
Something like this?
show: wooden bridges

For now is the best wooden bridge that I found online for your map. ](*,)
It's free

Just wanted to stop by quick and say I'm glad to see this project going. I think of the recent thematic series maps, this series is towards the top of list (ahem, even if I don't seem to play it! :)).
