I'm trying to advance over 22,000 armies from one territory to another, and I get an "Illegal Assault" error message. Is there a maximum?

Ok, so advancing 9999 worked. Perhaps the 5-digit number was conflicting with the territory borders in the XML, but the 4-digit number wasn't?

Right there is a limit---something similar to this, but I can't remember off the top of my head at the moment. There are a couple of other topics about this, I'd do a search.

I was thinking about searching previous topics, but didn't know what to search for...

Game is Game 3765612, although the troop-count has probably been cut down by half in the past few turns.

Lack increased the limit to 9999, I believe.

Which brings me to another random question that you may be able to answer being involved in that game. Does the amount of troops you get for a set cap at any point with escalating turn ins? Are you still getting 5 more troops for every set or is it stuck at a certain number?
