Dice Idea

CC should outsource and hire thousands of little Indonesian children to roll dice for the players. When you click assault you just have to wait 10 seconds until your child rolls the dice then manually inputs them into the computer. This would add the randomness to the dice that many users think are missing from the dice. For auto assault you may have to wait awhile longer. Also if you get bad dice you no longer take your frustration out on your opponent or the site itself but rather little Santoso who is sitting thousands of miles away rolling dice for 18 hours a day. The positives this would have are endless.

What do you think?

Come on man, stop having fun at our expense. I paid a lot of money for my premium membership, and I want the mods to actually do something about the dice instead of people mocking the problem.

This is an awful idea, Blitz would probably pay off the workers for good rolls for pennies a day.

Perhaps the dice could be outsourced to Thai hookers and they could shoot them out of their....ah, on second thought, nevermind. I just got off a forum ban. I don't care how the problem gets remedied, just so long as it does.

I'm down for this idea...or really any that remedy the problem. I'm new here and I've already noticed the problem. I attacked a territory that had 2 men on it with a territory that had 9 men on it. I conquered it, but not before getting down to 1 man left on both territories. Since when do 2 men kill 7 men? Even in Risk, that rarely happens. :-s

I really don't get the problem that some have with the dice. I've played dice based boardgames for years and the same sort of horrible things happen with real dice as happen with RNG.
Random means the bigger stack will usually win not always win.

The only alternative dice system that I've seen work is the one in some PC risk games. 3v2 12 sided dice are rolled with the proportion of high numbers on the dice increasing as the armies get bigger, this really favours the larger stack. But the movement rules are different, mostly adjacent attacks only.

I prefer the 3v2 six sided used here, I like the uncertainty.

If you want the strongest player to always win then don't play games involving dice.

That's really a dice idea..I mean, nice idea.

But anyway..the dice aren't a problem, they are the same for everybody anyway.

Just enter what you threw in an input form and after that, find out if you won or not.

I felt that outsourcing would help the global economy. CC could even include a 1-800 number that users could call to complain about their intensity cubes, then the telephone operator who does not speak English very well can pull some strings and get the user better results by making little Santoso try harder to get 6's for a $0.02 raise
