BOB Territory connections

Postby QoH on Thu Jan 13, 2011 9:47 pm

Hi techies :ugeek:

I have a quick suggestion, recommendation/request.

In BOB, when you hover over a territory, it shows what can attack it and what it can attack. Is it possible to show maybe a green circle over what it can attack, and a red circle around what attacks it instead of just player color codes and white?

Thanks, Q

Yeah, it's possible. Kinda along the lines of a previous suggestion, to make the markings a bit more clear.

Not sure whether it would improve much like this though. What colours would mutual attack, and bombards etc. be?

Mutual attacks would be a more neutral colour, so maybe something like blue?
And bombards are still attacking terr, so maybe yellow for those bombard can attack, and orange for terr. that can be bombarded. You then have mutual bombardments as well, so how about just working it in as a beta stage for now? It should be an added option anyway, so just put the basic options for attacking and being attacked for now, where it can be used by some. The colours should just be for quicker differentiation anyway, so you can keep the current shapes I'm sure.

So you want colours to represent threat levels? Intriguing.
