Ahoy Conquer Club Members!


It is with great pleasure that I introduce you all to SOS Africa, Conquer Club's first Official Charity.

SOS Africa is a terrific charity, empowering underprivileged African children through education, with a guarantee that all contributions and donations made toward the education and welfare of the children they support. By focusing their supportive efforts on education, through both donations and sponsorships of children, SOS Africa can help have an impact on Africa's future generations.

So while you are playing and enjoying your time on Conquer Club, give SOS Africa's website and program a look over. I encourage all those interested to help make a personal difference in our world. Though we are an online-gaming community bent on conquering the world, that doesn't mean we don't care about the world in which we conquer.

Hi there,

My name is Matt Crowcombe, AKA: Tactician, and as well as being a regular Conquer Club player and fan, I am also UK President of SOS Africa, a UK registered, volunteer-run African education charity which funds the education and care of underprivileged African children.

I founded the charity back in 2003, during my gap year to South Africa. We started by sending just one child to school, which I paid for myself. Due to the huge support received by SOS Africa from around the World, we have now grown to support a large number of children from South Africa’s townships.

During the 2010 Football World Cup, SOS Africa also teamed up with Hyundai and former England footballer John Barnes MBE and carried out one of the tournaments largest charity projects. The aim of the project was to bring the World Cup to the children who lived in the country’s poorest communities and involved the distribution of 7,500 World Cup footballs and 50 sets of football equipment for schools throughout these areas.

These projects are only made possible thanks to the support of our sponsors. I would like to say a big thank you to the Conquer Club team for endorsing SOS Africa as this sites official charity, and encourage you to have a look at our website when you have a moment.

well yea but look at yours and my writing. not the school you would want your child to go to if they have the money for good schools.

i can only hope my kids get to go to the schools i've been to (since grade 5) as i've been at great ones

my writing ability has to do with me not my schooling
