Though I'm not quite sure what the legend regarding the bombard ranges is supposed to tell us.

I understand the bombard ranges (a nice gameplay idea in its own right) but I'm not sure what that's trying to describe^

And just to be really picky, the Beirut/Amman border area looks vague.

Oh, and does this map have a small/large image option? If we're looking at the large version now, it might be insightful to see how it appears within the guidelines of a small image. Forgive me if I'm missing something obvious here.

It sounds like I'm picking flaws in this map wherever I can, but it's constructive criticism because I really want to see this go live.

you are currently looking at the small image
but as it was said before
we got authorization to go larger
so small map will be 800x800
so a bit of patience

I think the texts regarding the bombard ranges are intended to be a shorthand way of remembering which tankers (and terrorists) can be bombarded by which fleet, without looking at the blue circles.

After a fortnightly review, I noticed there hasn't been an update for sometime. So, come the next fortnightly review, if there isn't an update made, we will have to move into the Recycling Bin until the mapmaker makes an update. :cry:

It would appear that development of this map has stalled. If the mapmaker wants to continue with the map, then one of the Foundry Moderators will be able to help put the thread back into the Foundry system, after an update has been made. ;-)

Apologies to veryone I've been quite sick over the past few months and still am on antibiotics right now, but I plan to get back to work on this now and hopefully we'll have a new version in the next couple of weeks.
