Global Tournament [GT]

I dont know if this has ever been done/given consideration, but i was thinking...
What if we have a Global Tournament [The GT] where each country choses its best player, and we have a tournament, to see who is The Conquering Country!!! 8-)

The Country Representatives are then put into 1vs1 games (either on classic or World 2.1), the loser falls out and the winner advances to the next round!

Please give me your thoughts! ;)

i remember one about 3 years ago but i can't recall its name.

there were qualify tournaments for the countrys and then one for the champs.
