Cool! Now that the 'BETA' is gone from over the mini map icon it looks like this map is sprinkled with blood!

I love this map idea and the map itself, but i dont understand all the bonuses and penalties that one can get. Is there a reference I am missing? Please pm me with a link. Thanks.

I'll try to make it short :)

Diocesis, Capitals and Vicarious

-Each color group area is a Diocesis.
-Each Diocesis has a Capital.
-Each Capital can 1-way assault its Vicarious on the Roman Government.
-You get a +1 army for owning a Vicarious and every 2 regions from his Diocesis.

The Emperors (Augustus)

-If you own an Emperor and a tribe from the same side you'll lose 3 armies from your drop (negative bonus)
-if you own an Emperor and a legion from the same side you'll get +1 army
-if you own an Emperor and a Capital from the same side you'll get +1 army

but, there are no initial land count bonuses at all right?

So upon starting the game I am in, it was in BETA. We all started with a drop of 3. Will that still hold true, or are we susceptible to a poor drop resulting in more or less?

no, there are no bonuses per region number. So everyone will start with 3 troops and it will remain that way until you start taking bonuses. (Vicarious + regions)

the western augusturs attacks the western tribes and the eastern augustus attacks the eastern tribes.

The last few posters should keep in mind the negative 3 "bonus" for holding a tribe and the attacking augustus.

Job well done Kabanellas i like this map but there are a few remarks i have to make as i could not find the awnsers in the previous 25 pages in this Topic.

Its not very clear if the babariaan outposts are part of one of the game objectives ( Holding 4 tribes) and more important for me and maby also a lot of others who are playing the map for the first time is the fact that not inhere nor on the map itself it is stated that a player needs to hold all the game objectives for a turn. I gotta tell you that missing that piece of info is frustating when you are in an 8 player esc game and you made your move, holding the game objectives and then have to find out that you need to hold these objectives for a complete turn.

The only way to find that out is to check the finnished games that have been played on the map.

This issue has come up many times in map topics. The fact is that any map that has a winning objective requires you to hold the appropriate territories for a full turn. The game engine does not support an instant win. (The newer losing conditions or "requirements" can cause an instant loss, however.) See the bottom of this page of the instructions: http://www.conquerclub.com/public.php?m ... tructions6
The question of how to make clear the need to hold the objective has generally been settled in favour of the use of the word "hold" in the legend, rather than, say, "conquer".

Thank you Badpat. :)

Concerning the Tribes/Outpost situation you can see that clearly defined on the top left of the legend board. As for the objectives, it works as any other map with winning objectives here on CC. You need to hold the objectives for an entire turn in order to win the game.

It seems to me that Rome is not often taken, being neutral. What if we make it a bit more appealing by decreasing Roma Vicarious neutral troops from 2 to 1?

..just saying...

I have read the this post and still can't figure out how to attack the Barbarian Tribes. I have all the seats including Roma and Constantinoplis. I am unable to attack the tribes from them. It is a fog of war game and I am unable to even see the tribes.
How do you specifically attack the Barbarian Tribes?

Which territory attacks Franci? I would think Roma, but that doesn't work.

No if you read the lower left legend it says that Rome is a imperial capital (smaller icons) not an imperial seat (bigger icon with a black outline).
