Your 'Longest Game' Win

Inspired by the GD topic gathering the 'longest games on every map'---I was curious to see what game that went the longest Round wise that I had won. I've been involved in a couple dozen long round games...but it looks like the longest one that I've won was only 45 Rounds.

Have you been involved in a fair number of long round games---and what's highest victory you've recorded from a game in the upper echelons of Rounds?

My longest was 109 Rounds. Game 7911564

My teammate was quickly eliminated, as was everyone else until there were 3 left. Me (yellow) pink, and silver.
We went round and round, basically trading spaces in a circle. We were so evenly matched none of us could really gain any ground.

Finally I gained the upper hand, took a risk and made it. Excellent fun, i would have been pissed if I hadn't won tho!

hmmm i know ive been in a lot of long games, and i i think ive actually won a decent amout of them (maybe something like 5 out of 15 over 100 rounds or so? idk....) but this one is probably my longest one ever after like 3 years. It was actually one of my favorite games ever, and involved a lot of strategy.. it was just slow evolving strategy .

Also, took a lot of politics, as you can see by the ending....

I don't know how to check w/o going through it game by game. I imagine I've had a few go into the 100's but the one that popped into my head was an 8 player Imperium Romanum game that seemed to last for about half a year. It was sunny and unlimited. That can be a brutal combo. I won the game in 96 rounds and I had a significant lead throughout, but its hard to play 1 v everyone so it lasted a while. I think it would have went much longer if the tourney rules didn't allow second place to advance.

qwert has a thread. since he created it, many players have been running up "rounds" games to make the largest of all time. they just sit there and start turn and end turn until their fingers fall off. also, i said mine was top 10 in the sense of time. it was played over a year long.

I have really enjoyed some lone 1v1 games. Small maps with nuclear spoils sometimes can turn into a slug fest. I know I have been in a few 50+ rounders and maybe into the 60's on some 1v1 games--pretty fun stuff there.

I had a nice 1v1 with HA on Mioddle East with nukes, though it "only" lasted 20 rounds. Contained perfect dice on a 7v4v1v1v1v1 to break HA's bonus and turn the game around. "2010-10-18 22:51:05 - HighlanderAttack: u r right--I am going to foe u". Loved that match, though HA won the next game to take the tournament title.

Longest standard game was a 284-round win on Europa. 4 players, one eliminated in the beginning before the deadlock set in.

I know I heard of a speed game last really long. I wonder if it was this one or another one. I also think I heard about a battle royal game-speed variety lasting really long. Just trying to recall so not sure of really anything

I went down to having just 1 troop on 1 region 14 rounds into the game but came back for the win 107 rounds later .
At this point I remember having a single troop left:

2010-08-09 02:49:57 - Gillipig received 3 troops for 1 regions
2010-08-09 02:50:03 - Gillipig deployed 3 troops on Epirus
2010-08-09 02:50:20 - Gillipig ended the turn
2010-08-09 02:50:20 - Incrementing game to round 15

Epirus is a pretty good place to hide on Imperium Romanum.

6 player flat rate games is pretty much the perfect setting for stalemates if you want them. A 12 hour speed game ? How did you manage to cook food in the meantime? And what about sleep? And other things to do ?
