There were games all day--I do not think anyone was locked out. If they wanted to play they had plenty of chances.

Agreed with HA 100%. There were often times people were waiting and waiting for games to fill.

This statement is incredibly off base. I was online all day and I can guarantee you there was always a game waiting for players. The TeamCC members did a great job of always keeping a game up and helping out "newbies" in live chat and the tournament thread to make sure they got into a game if they wanted to. There's no way the drop in participation was due to some small amount of players hogging all the games. The speed BRs take some very specific skills, ones that most of the players on CC just looking to play a game of Risk might not possess, which is why many experienced players chose not to play in the games. Apparently the Entertainment team realized this and decided to create some of these 24 hour BRs to cater towards the more casual crowd. This event has been well advertised on the home page and twitter feed, and with ~2 days left in the contest it seems like there'll be plenty of spots. I know bashing Team CC is very fashionable these days, but please make sure there's actually some basis when you criticize. The entertainment team did an excellent job running this event and should be applauded for it =D>

Amen. Couldn't have said it better myself
