you might want to reconsider this map choice for future tournaments and go for something that's better for 1v1.
on europe map the person that starts first has a big advantage because with good dice he can drop the opponents bonus from 5 to 4 before he even starts. so the second player starts his first turn with lower bonus and if he has bad dice it's pretty much game over.

giappone proved to be a worthy opponent as i needed some luck to beat him.

sorry i just realised you play the decider on europe because it's the european cup :mrgreen:

but there are other european maps that play far better than this one. like europe1914 or europa.
