Baseball Clarification

Ok, here's the thing, and I can't mess this up. If I go for an elimination in baseball, and I kill everything but one of their home runs, they should get eliminated, right? So will I get their cards?

the legend tells me only the batter(babe) and the baseballs reset to neutral. the legend specificly meantions that Home runs do not.

That's not what he asked...

If you don't hold any other territories than home runs, you are eliminated from the game.

That is correct. If someone only holds Home Runs they are eliminated and you get their spoils. It's the same as in Middle Ages for example where you eliminate someone by taking all their castles.

i'd like to see a game end like that. at the very least you cannot attack away from a homerun, so it seems to be the case.

Homeruns are not just dead-ends (like Alcatraz in San Francisco or the Baathist armies in Battle For Iraq), where you are locked as soon as you have nothing but these regions.
According to the legend you are directly eliminated as soon as you hold nothing but Homeruns (like losing all your castles in Middle Ages). So if someone takes your last region that is not a Homerun they have eliminated you and get your spoils.
You can see that in the XML file: http://www.conquerclub.com/maps/Baseball.xml at the requirement tag.

I also found an example of such an elimination: Game 10619040

2012-03-12 18:43:28 - valunik assaulted LC2 from LC4 and conquered it from mph7
2012-03-12 18:43:28 - mph7 no longer holds a territory other than Home run
2012-03-12 18:43:28 - valunik eliminated mph7 from the game
