The dice may come out fairly even in the long run, but we tend to focus on the short run when the dice go to hell and you end up down bunches of troops. Seems most of the people I chat with are superstitious about dice... I might be a little bit

I wonder if the opposite end of the spectrum, that is, some sort of "Pervasive Pessimism Bias" has a role to play when it comes to our perception of the dice.
