Hello,

The poll has ended, the CC Community at large has spoken and now we have 3 maps qualified for the 2nd round of this contest!

Now, I am going to send a message to the 3 mapmakers that submitted respectively the MAP2, MAP3 and MAP7 and give them a couple of days to improve their maps a bit more, if they want to.

The mapmakers will be asked to send to me their improved versions via PM before Saturday 24 March 2012 @ 18:59

While an good natured shout out isn't really a bad thing... but while there is judging going on for the finals of said competition this could be used in an improper way to sway votes or unintentionally leak who author which revamp.

Hello CC,

the jurors have submitted their votes. After counting, checking (and double check) them it's a pleasure for me to announce that we have a winner!

With a total of 120 points and 150 points, the third and the second classified are respectively CJ Lues (MAP A) and BrucesWar (MAP B)

Both them will receive a General Achievement Medal for reaching the 2nd stage of this contest


And with a incredible total of 214 points, that is a confirmation of the previous public poll, the WINNING MAP of this revamp contest is:

I like a lot also number 5, I was really disappointed to not see it in the final phase.

also, i'd like to point out that all those that voted for map 2 and 7 but not for map 5, have no artistic sense whatsoever. map #5 should have easily taken second place without a doubt. 2 and 7 simply pale in comparison to #5.
