100th Anniversary of the RMS Titanic

Postby Gilligan on Sun Apr 15, 2012 8:43 pm

Not the happiest round of Event Games, but 100 is a very milestone number. The RMS Titanic sank 100 years ago. We'll feature games on England, its starting point, and NYC, its destination.

Win an official game and earn a general achievement medal! Various game types will be held on England and NYC. You may join only TWO games, and no more than ONE of the same map! If you violate this rule, you will not receive a general achievement medal! NO EXCEPTIONS TO JOINING MORE THAN TWO GAMES! The password for all games is: titanic, Limit of ONE General Achievement Medal per person. This leaves room for 250 unique players. It is strongly encouraged to join games of the same map that others have already joined, this way more games will start (if all do not) and you will still have your shot at the medal.

Click here for awaiting official games!

Does this mean that winners will have to wait forever for their medals?

If so, maybe they should be dropped and remade...at least the ones with no players in them yet.

No, I won't make everyone wait until all of the games have ended (if stalemates do arise)

To win a medal, join one of the available games for this event (There's a link to waiting games in the first post of the thread). Keep in mind you can only join a maximum of two games, and they must be on different maps (1 game on NYC, 1 on England). If you win either game, you get 1 medal. Maximum of 1 medal per person... even if you win 2 games.

That's all there is to it :)

My game has ended... I didn't look too closely but I'm speculating that all the rest are stalemates. Medal please? :D

No need to post them, some people just like to. They'll check all the games once they're finished and award all the winner's.
