The most gut-wrenching series I've experienced in a while. Glad it went to the Caps.

Hoping for the Rangers, just to keep the ass-kicking train going. Then the Flyers.

Mostly though, I've just been happy to finally be able to grow out a decent 'stache after 23 long years, so I wanna keep it for as long as possible while having a rationale to give people who ask me about it at work.

f*ck, completely forgot about the Caps game. Though it wouldn't matter because I don't get NBC Sports, but it would've been a great game to watch.

I want both the Sens and Panthers to win because I'm rooting for them (I hate the Rangers and I have an affinity towards the Panthers because Pavel Bure used to play for them [I idolized Bure as a kid]) and because I want to go 0 and 8 in my first round predictions.

After that, I think it'll be a complete toss-up in both the East and West.

That Caps-Bruins series was the closest series of all time with all 7 games being decided by one goal. I don't like either team, but it was a very fun series from a hockey fan point of view. Holtby is a nice story.

Now for the Sens to keep their magic going...

And Lundqvist saved the Rangers' asses. They can't make the same mistakes against the Caps.

Bring on Das Rangers.

I am more certain we'll lose this series than I was we were going to lose to boston. Although we played the Rangers good in the final game of the regular season. And we did beat them in the playoffs in 7 games the last time we met up (albeit we were the 1 seed that year and had the last game at home).

If the caps want to pull this off, they'll have to generate more scoring chances. Give some relief to Braden for god's sake. Also, take better advantage of the power play opportunities we're given. And I for one believe that they can't let up the offensive pressure as soon as they take a 1 goal lead like they did against Boston. Keep attacking, while still holding to the defensive mindset that has made them hard to score on.

Right now it's on Page 3 and it was setup wrong...I had to click on the Jay Mohr interview to get the Rick Tocchet interview...listen at about 3:00-3:30 (well, listen to the whole interview) and you'll hear something eerily familiar...and this is coming from an NHL Legend. Just sayin'....

Now I need a team to latch on to for the rest of the playoffs. Thinking maybe the Blues or Coyotes. Coyotes have a local boy on the team, so it is always nice when they bring the cup back here.

The Caps/Bruins series was a very entertaining nail biter
and I was happy to catch a few of those games.

I'm still surprised that the Canucks were eliminated 4-1
and hope these playoffs generate more tight games.

Don't have a fav team, but found myself pulling for the Caps
against the Bruins.

If I had to pick a team to root for, I'd probably go with the Blues.

Missed opportunities left and right! Really pissed about the interference call that put us on the PP before the 5v3 because it was a wide open net and a goal, instead, we fucked up the PP.

Super pissed about the 3rd goal we gave up. I don't like to blame it on holtby because he's been stellar, but wtf man, he's right in front of you and you let it between your legs like you were drunk at senior prom.

As for the 2nd goal. I suppose you could blame it on holtby's aggressiveness, but I usually like that in my goalie. I wouldn't blame green, cuz we need to protect our dmen when they're trying to shift.

Really though, too much time in the defensive zone, not enough good scoring chances by screening. Ugh. Just ugh.
