3.Invite the away players

If a clan repeats a map in the Qualification or League stage and the Director fails to realise this before the game starts then the game will not be repeated.

Late game creation

If by 23:00 Monday Evening the home games have not been created, the representative and their 2nd will be warned by the Division Director that they have only 24 hours left to create the games.
If by 23:00 Tuesday Evening this has still not been done then the Division Director will create 8 Random Map, Sunny, Escalating games and invite random players from the offending clan.

There can be no delays beyond this 48 hour period. By going with clan created games and not Division Director created games, the process should be less arduous for the directors.

9.Miscellaneous
Any deemed abuse should be brought to the attention of the League Directors immediately
The 12 hour FOW rule will not be enforced at all. If two clans wish to use it (as a gentleman's agreement) then this must be done in advance of the round in which they play one another (there will be no penalties for not using it nor will there be any enforcement of the gentleman's agreement by TO's or DD's if it is breached). Games will not be re-made and results will not be changed.
Timing out in Escalating and Nuclear games will not be tolerated by any players or clans that abuse this.
First offense of a team:The first time a team breaks this rule, the game will be considered forfeit and must be re-made by the clan for which it was a home map.
Second offense of a team (in the same game): the game will not be considered as a win for the offending clan for league purposes. If they do win, then the game will be declared a draw. In these circumstances, games may still count towards other statistics, such as ranking systems.
If a clan has been penalized (as above) for two offenses in one game, then commits a single further offense in any game in the same round the same penalty will apply: the game will not be considered as a win for the offending clan for league purposes. If they do win, then the game will be declared a draw. In these circumstances, games may still count towards other statistics, such as ranking systems.
If a clan have been penalized twice during the season then any single further offense in any game during the entire season will result in the same penalty will apply: the game will not be considered as a win for the offending clan for league purposes. If they do win, then the game will be declared a draw. In these circumstances, games may still count towards other statistics, such as ranking systems.
Timing-out, missing turns or dead beating in No Spoils or Flat Rate games will not be investigated, or result in any penalties.
Decisions of the League Directors and Division Director are final .
Clans submitting entry to the league are deemed to have agreed to the rules.
There is a no tolerance rule to insulting or bad behavior. Any issues brought to the League Director's attention will be dealt with harshly in conjunction with Clan Directors.
As there seems to be some discrepancy between CC time on this site and the time given by the [Time] function, one hour's grace will be given with all deadlines to ensure there is no unfair disadvantage.
Throwing games rule
each intentionally throwing games, is strictly prohibited. Those Clan who do so will be punished with deduction of 6 points from ranking table board.
This rule will be apply only if there are enough valid evidence to be acted upon them.
If there are any throwing games, they would need to be reported promptly for consideration.

This as a structure for a league is a much smoother design.

As English is my primary language, I will have at go!!

Easier/ simpler to follow. At the start of the season you know what league you are in and will remain in. You play everyone once and then get a result. The results for one year lets you know where you will be next year.

He means that he likes your design better than the current Clan League. ;)

Can make people choose which ones to sign up to but a league like this is better than the the other league as it will carry over year on year. Like a league is supposed to.

I would support an idea like this if we could get rid of the idea of "home maps and settings".

Get more of an equal footing for everybody and see which clan actually is the best all-round, instead of specializing at certain maps and settings.

Every clan play the same maps and settings and then find out which is really the best all-round clan, based on skill and team work instead of maps and settings....

For all I care all games could be escalating, chained, sunny on Classic. Same for every clan, every game, every player, every team. Then a clan league would really be a clan league.

Probably, but in Europe it's generally Premier (or whatever word they use in different countries), then first, second, third, etc.

i won't hold that against him

i like your idea Lindax of all clans playing with the same map and settings. were you thinking just 1 map all the way through or a few maps such as

Year 1 maps - Classic, Europe, Germany, London
Year 2 maps - Classic, North America, Canada, NYC
Year 3 maps - Classic, Far East, Japan, Sydney Metro
Year 4 maps - Classic, South America, Brazil, Buenos Aires (yet to be developed ;) )

One map would be a bit boring, but standard maps would be good. Just no fancy maps that specific people are good at and others don't have much of a chance, if you get my drift.

Maybe one day I'll have to organize a TLO style thingy for clans, but for now I don't know if I want to.

i put the years there because i thought if the maps were laid out in advance clans could prepare for them through recruitment and internal training.

if a clan is not ready to play on Stalingrad or New World with 2 years to prepare they only have themselves to blame.

I dont have intention to promote one map. Also in all sports competition, home team have right to decide where to play.
If you have in Premier League top 16 clans, then this mean that they know very good to play on almost all maps, but still they have right to decide what maps ,when to use,and against what opponents.
Play only on 1 maps will be same like play some Footbal League, on one Stadium, in one city, and this will be ridiculouse cometition, who will not promote this competition.
If you want to create something interesting, and chalenging for all clans, then this are not league where clan only can play on few maps, and all ready decided settings.
If you want to be best, you need to know all possible maps and settings, and to play against stronger opponents. Also new clans will start in second league, where they will have great opportunity to play against same equal opponents, and slowly learn abouth maps and settings.

Your analogy doesn't make much sense qwert. As I'm sure you know, the "map" in football is exactly the same in every stadium, city, etc. It's a field of grass of the same size wherever you go.

Anyway, although I think 1 and the same map would be the most fair, I would use more than one map, but exclude a bunch of them.

With a choice of any home map and settings it will always be the same few clans winning the competition.

greenoaks, its question who go deep into history. In mine country First Footbal league are created 1923 year.
Present Leagues are followers of Yugoslav Leagues, and every team who play in FIrst Yugoslav League are continue to play in SUpreleague. Its dificulty to explane, because you have so many time of Country change,so system are change several times.

Leehar this is in English League, not all leagues in europe have Divisions, many have First Leagues,or Second leagues(names for other lvl of competition).
In greece you have SUperleague-Footbal LEague-Footbal League 2-

Well this will not work, because many high ranked clans will not compete.
And this last,in many competition same teams win a championship, over and over again. Barcelona and Real win almost every year Championship, same like in England Manchester and Arsenal.
Still i think that here in CC you have much more competition, where you have 10 clans who can compete for title.
-its will be hard for some clan to be twice in row ,champion in premier league, when everybody can win or lost to each other. Ofcourse when you add 7 more clans ranked from 10-16 place, they also can make some suprisses in premier league.

This is present position of clans from Rank table(algoritm 400)(this could change till october, or if some clans dont accept invitation to play )

@qwert

Setup like this is wrong, you would have Second League with 6 clans,
it's better to make 2 First Leagues and then winners and runners up move to Premier League.

@Lx

So who would choose maps that are good to be played on?

Your reason for making it fair play by limiting maps is bad.

The only thing that would be good, with so many new maps coming out,
is to limit maps to those that came out before the start of league.

You don't seem to have a problem with it in my TLO Tournament.... ;)

No I sure don't, but I always like to play vs anybodies best
and limiting anything would cripple some clans.

Limits should only go for unknown, not tested things (Like trench or some new maps),
so all clans get a chance to get to train them.

And CL should be all clans competition, not adjusted to organizers wishes.
If organizers would choose what maps to exclude that would be even more unfair.

.

I take teams from Algoritm ranking topic, i dont know how many clan will compete in second league. Second league can also have up to 16 clans.
You all ready have some clans who are not listed in Ranking(otpisani, NBK). Active clans number 47.
Second league are created so that all new clans can compete imediatly, and not to waith to be included in Ranking.

edit-small changes, i reduce premier and first league to 15 teams, so that second league get more teams.
