Well we're underway. I've tried some different tactics so there's every chance it could all go horribly wrong 8-[

I guess, we should feel honoured, that youĀ“d choose all these "flip-a-coin" maps instead of "real" games against us. If it makes for interesting games/an interesting challenge is another question.

Anyway. First post updated with 1st round games. Will add the players lists, when all games are completely joined & started.

Good luck & have fun all !

O:)

Now 3-0 to HH. It's a bit early for an accurate forecast but the first set is looking close with HH maybe having a slight edge.

It's potentially looking very good for HH in the first set.

7-6 to HH and soon to be 8-6 :)

I'm hopeful that we can at least have the lead at the halfway stage. But looking at the remaining games a 12-8 or even a 13-7 scoreline is possible.

People may have mocked the map selection but I think its shrewd, if the other team have more experience why not even the odds with lucky maps? Now look at the score!

Its actually a brilliant play... surprised underdogs have not used this method in the past... nicely played HH.

Well the plan is to win, not be gallant losers.

I've taken some stick from certain members of IA in game chat, plus they have a least one member who loves a bit of dice bitching. But I can take all of that if the final score reads HH 21 IA 20 :)

dice complaining is common in CC... its interesting how its always about dice, never about skill...
as for map bitching, you guys are winning on their home maps, so i dont see hows that relevant. to tell you the truth, i dont like your map selection, but ill always take 50/50 on your home maps and then take care of business on our home maps.

Great match up so far. I agree kudos to HH on their map choice gambit. Can't wait to see their round 2 choices.

Free country - you can feel as you wish. Forgive me if I do my best to make you a non-gallant loser in as many games as possible :D

Sadly for HH the war is slowly drifting towards an IA win. 26-15 is looking likely, but 24-17 is possible.

I'd just like to say that since HH was formed last October we've played in 8 or 9 full wars plus the CL4. Every clan have been a pleasure to play. Sure there's been some banter and smack talk but it's all been in good spirit. While Ahunda and the majority of his clan have played and acted like gentlemen, I'm sad to say there are one or two players in his clan who I can only describe as complete assholes. Their completely unprovoked nasty, mean spirited remarks in game chat have left a bad taste in the mouth and have made some of the games quite unpleasant. I even said in the chat of one game that if any HH player acted like that they would be booted from the clan. Unfortunately for some folk winning is everything.

I wish IA every success in this competition.
