Well there's a darn site more than 3 new clans less than a year old:

@ qwert and Keefie

If I was just to organize a pure Newcomers Cup, every clan would get only one time to play in it.

There's no more newcomer anything in most of those clans.

Also I would have to ban any clan that was started by experienced players or former clan leaders.

I had to draw the line somewhere and this is best I could come up.

Also during the whole time I also invited all of those clans
and only those that really wanted to participate truly did so, others were not interested.

And as a last thing, I am trying to give birth

here to some new clan that can do something relevant
in the future and not just be a punching bag.

The come out as a winner you must show more then just appear on the battlefield.

hmm,i dont know why you answer to me? I give you only a suggestion how to help new clans ,to have some decent start in some competition.
If some of new clan play against Otpisani( who have large number of former Nemesis), then they have chance for disaster result, and this its a way to be punching bag.
Look this like Uefa Champion League qualification, they have two road of qualification-road of champion, and road of non champion.
Every experience clan will be like i sugested on road of champion,and new clan will be on road of non champion, and in end the winner will play in finale. Then you will give chance to new clans to show something. Its only sugestion , you do how you want

But any new clans will be punching bag against Otpisani in first round, and this will be demoralised for this clan, so i put mine money on Otpisani against any new clan :-$

Yes but you added two clans to non champion route make their way easier to the finals.

I have already made my ruling.

Bracket will be random.

I think having the random bracket is a great idea for this tournament, especially since most of the new clans you would have a tough time placing into the right ranks.

I really think most of the new clans can take each other out pretty easily, and the end be very close in score. I know NC2 had all the wars within like 5 games or so, except for 1 incident was outside that.

For the record, I think you have done just fine with this Benga!

It is tough to decide where to draw the line... obviously most of the clans above 20 shouldn't be playing in this but I think that the ones below 20 should look forward to it. We are proud of having won the first one and it wasn't a cake walk to do it. Some of the clans involved were Pig Renters, TNC, Grim Reapers, AKA, and others.

This event has prestige to it because you have to win multiple wars. Also, Sometimes you have new clans form like fallen. I am not sure if they will join or if they even want to but they can. There are many clans that are not so new anymore but they are still trying to improve all the time (RA comes to mind). I think that this event should still be something that clans like that strive to win.

Maybe a name change could be in order but I can't think of any good suggestions. All I know is that I totally agree that it can't be limited to strictly new clans and that it is a very fun event to participate in. If we didn't win and we still qualified, I am certain that we would join again because it is more than just a war and it is worth winning. Some new clans may not like the thrashing they get but at least they will understand how competitive you have to be to get even near the top 20.

For the record, the Fallen are considering it.

It will depend on timing, our guys gotta finish some past war games.
I believe some 25-30 must finish by the deadline.
On top of that we have some planned vacations and what not, so we are evaluating it now and will decide once we get closer to the deadline.

Either way, it looks to be another good year for the event.

I agree with this completely. Our clan is very new and we got our butts kicked by the second last placed clan MB and (a higher clan) TNC. I think that the newer clans will not have as good an idea of how good they really are until they are matched up with clans such as AKA, Pig Renters, TNC, etc. Getting thrashed by TNC was an excellent experience for us because we now know how hard we need to work at it to have a shot at moving up. Our clan with MB was VERY helpful because even though we out ranked them in several games, the players who had the most teamwork and played with each other a lot won the game the majority of the time. This stressed communication and familiarity between players to our clan. So any new clans who are afraid to join this, don't be. Join up because I can garuntee even if you get your ass handed to you on a silver platter round 1 (like we likely will, lol), you will take so much away from this experience.

I mean we are new (clan started less than 1 year ago) We only played 2 wars outside of the NC2, 1 victory against DBC and 1 loss against ID.

GR wouldn't qualify as they are ranked 20th and it's only for 21st and lower. I think the exception should be made, especially if you guys go 0-2 in the NC Finals. Just my two cents, but I'd lobby for your to play.
