Concise description:

• Game 11613462
• I have foed tainaron and was invited by a third party to a game against him.

Specifics:

• I have tainaron foed because he will invite me and a usual partner of mine to a doubles game, but will never accept invites himself. It's bad for my partners because I don't want to play with him in this manner and for them it looks like we will both be playing, so I foed him.
• Either tainaron or his usual partner, snusleppa, invited someone and rousseau72 to a game as opponents. The other player declined, which left rousseau72 in the second spot on Team 2 and the first spot empty.
• So, needing a partner, rousseau72 invited me and was able to, even though I had the opponent on my foe list.

I don't think that this should really be allowed to happen. If I have a foe in a game, I should not be able to be invited.

This is not a bug. You can join games with someone you have foed, but they cannot join your games.

the Foe list stops them joining your games but allows you to join their games, if you want to. apparently you did.

Idiotically, the site doesn't consider this a bug (I have a lot of difficulty in believing this was how the foe list was intended to function). Amazingly, your complaint has been an accepted suggestion with massive community support for going on five years now. Having the site work rationally doesn't seem to be much of a priority.

What if there is a game that you wanted or needed to join but someone from your foe list is already there? Shouldn't it be that it would be up to you if you still want to join that game or should the foe list also restrict you from joining any games from the number of people that you have placed on your foe list?

I think that it should be that you can't join those games. If you have them foed, then you don't want to play them for some reason. You can get a notification saying they are foed. If you really want to play, you can unfoe them.

Of course, all of that isn't the issue here. The issue is being invites to a game where a foe is the opponent. I already described the reason why someone would feel obliged to accept an invite by a usual partner, even if it is against a foe. So, the situation shouldn't even be happening. It's the same type of situation that lack already fixed.

If I have a certain sized foe list and I don't quite remember everyone on it, I would like to be "stopped" from joining their games. If I then decide I want to join after all (for example in a tournament or a clan war) I can simply unfoe them.

I conclude that it isn't a bug because it's been turned in as a bug before, and was ruled not a bug. Don't be so quick to judge someone who makes a decision that differs from your opinion.

A code to recognize if someone in a game is on that person's foe list and then notifying that person before he joins it, is on the webmaster's hands.

Until that becomes a reality, I guess we should all try to get along or survive the game if this situation happens to you.

I think we're heading into six years of it being an accepted suggestion that you shouldn't even be able to join a foe's game without recognition/acceptance of their being on your foe list. Since that would take care of your situation as well...
