@spiesr: it is not quite a contradiction. I am the closest thing to a vanilla townie in this game. And I can become town at any time.

I think I know what Vodean was getting at with asking you specifically. (Now I am attempting to read Vodean's mind here so they may be completely off.) I think that he has the same role as you, or very close, (which you proposed yourself) accordingly he knew/assumed that your win condition was not the town win condition. As such, he already knew the answer but asked you specifically to force you to admit it. Am I in the right ballpark here Vodean?

I am here. I was hoping to see some info before posting my thoughts, but it looks like it isn't happening. My action failed to go through, which I find to be highly annoying.

Beyond that I think it is safe to assume that anyone with a PR is not town, or at least insane due to being a human who foolishly used an "expensive" night action.

Vodean is insane due to actions during the night, and I have a vested interest I knowing the cost of insanity. (ie, can townies use their power without having a WC switch) I want to test this by hanging vode.

Not much for me to add to. Looks like Vodean has gone insane (especially curious about the dead will rise tonight bit). Jonty may also be insane, but it looks more like a post restriction from him.

Perhaps insanity can be cured. I'd bet that we have some sort of psychiatric role that can cure insanity. It would make town pretty underpowered if people went insane permanently.

Hmm, I think Edoc may have a similar thing to me, mine did not go through neither.

But I am not insane, so perhaps it is people who do not use their roles who go insane? Or maybe it's neither and scum or third party have a power to MAKE people go insane.. But what I find amusing are people who suggested people going insane back on D1. That's mighty suspicious to be right on in a mafia game...

As far as the first post goes, I just took that as flavour not as literal insanity. Also Vodean, you're not posting your list thing? Is that forced or are you doing that to be potentially annoying?
