We also prefer this one, but some railroads become unreadable, especially darker one (11 & 14). We may solve this issue by change the color.

I get what you are saying, but I think the black and the contrast (like in the silhouette) is a pretty nice aesthetic touch for this map. If the top decoration flairs could be made some other color, and could keep a decent contrast, I'd probably be fine with it, but I like the black overall.
