Wasnt a hybrid or a cross or anything. A unique chimp with some issues more than anything in the end. They tested the genes and he was full chimp. As it may say also, they thought perhaps it was the missing link between chimps and man, but it turns out chimps and man came from common ancestor, not humans from chimp, a fact that escapes many, and has caused confusion about evolution for years.

how old are you, like 60? how have you managed to live for so fucking long and yet remain so fucking dull and unteachable? by rights, you should have six decades of knowledge and wit from which to draw -- a veritable wellspring of experience to counter me with. yet the only riposte you can offer in answer to my jab is "yeah well you're gay!!!"

but the real tragedy here is that you honestly think you're clever. you have done nothing here but misunderstand and misconstrue, and in so doing have only served to humiliate yourself publicly. but you'll continue to mug dumbly for everyone because you have literally no self-awareness. you're a goddamn disgrace and you don't even know it. pitiful.

I'm not sure what others think about insults on the internet, but to me they always bounce of rather harmlessly. Although, they do provide great entertainment.

I'm sorry, what were we talking about again? Humanzees? Big deal.

just to be clear: i'm not taking umbrage over this one. just the opposite, actually. i'm disappointed because barunt's responses have been proving dumb as hell. the man could be easily outclassed by a precocious fifth grader.

seriously -- i make a rather clever jab and all he can come back with is "it's a gay thing." that is mind-bogglingly weak, and it betrays a level of ineptitude that i'm honestly not sure how to respond to. i'm babe ruth at a fucking teeball game over here

True story

The first time I heard of Manzees, my sister and I had just accidentally discovered the Alex Jones Radio Show. Now, as we listened to his long-winded rant (we tuned in right at the middle of it) he was literally screaming about these South American Labs where the US military could experiment with Human DNA and not have to worry about American laws.
I laughed and laughed.
When he started yelling about spider-goats without explaining what they actually were, we both lost it. We had no idea what they could be, but as our imaginations ran with the idea we both hopped on the giggle train. I've listened to Alex Jones quite a few times, though really only as entertainment. His views are sometimes dead-nuts on..... but it happens so rarely that he's just a kook with a bullhorn.

Yet the reason I bring this up:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldne ... r-web.html

HE WAS RIGHT ABOUT THE SPIDER-GOATS! We kinda gotta give him the benefit of the doubt now....

Just don't get caught lingering with that banana, or you'll likely lose that eye testing the newest eyedrops.

Scott, it seems extremely probable that a hybrid is not only possible but has probably been created at numerous points throughout history. We know the USSR experimented with the concept, and after hearing the information in your clip about the government primate research center and how the founder wrote extensively about his desire to create such a being, I think it's safe to say that it's probably been attempted here as well.

It's my opinion that Oliver is probably an example of just such a being. In Japan he was confirmed to have 47 chromosomes, the number between the chromosomal count of a chimp and a man. Decades later an animal testing firm that routinely kills animals produced a chimpanzee that was claimed to be Oliver and DNA results concluded that it was a regular chimpanzee. In every other instance differing DNA results indicate different specimens, but in this one isolated case a differing result is interpreted to mean Oliver is a regular chimp even though the obtained specimen exhibits none of the peculiar characteristics that Oliver did several decades earlier.

It's my opinion that Oliver probably died in lab testing, and the firm did not want to deal with the social and potential legal repercussions of having killed an animal that was half human, so they produced another specimen. To me this seems the most likely explanation considering that we have DNA results that indicate the animal in question is not the same one that was tested in Japan.

Thanks for the clip Scott. This is an area of science that most people are uncomfortable with, but I think it's important that this information be part of the common awareness.
