CONGRATS TO BABAGONOSH AND STUMEISTER69

DOUBLE TEAM SCRAMBLE

Image

Welcome to the first annual double team scramble. This will be a doubles competition, but you know I had to add a twist to sweeten the deal :D . You will register with a doubles partner of your choosing and it will begin as a normal single elimination tournament. Matchups will be drawn for randomly. The two teams in each matchup will play 3 games (3 maps TBD) the team that takes 2 maps will advance (Simple enough right?). It is single elim, so the losers each round will be eliminated... All winners will move on to the second round (This is where the fun begins) All winners names will individually be placed and drawn out with new partners RANDOMLY. This will continue in the same pattern all the way until we have a winning team.. So each round all winners will be re-drawn with completely random partners AND matchups.. You could get your old partner or more than likely you will get someone random :). Each round will be a best of 3 and the there will be 4 map SETS of 3 meaning they come bundled as 3.. Each round I will randomly pick a set for every game in that entire round (No limit to number of times one set can be picked) The map sets will have a theme of Old School maps!
Game Settings:
4 Players, Doubles, Automatic Troops, Sequential, No Cards, 20 Round limit(Re-play in the odd event of a tie), Unlimited Forts, NO fog, No trench, 24 Hr length.
Map sets: A(Europe, Discworld, CCU) B(Classic, Tamriel, British Isles) C(Australia, Philippines, Germany) D(Canada, USA, Hong Kong)
Minimum Requirements for entry:
1200 point average between both initial partners
At least 95% attendance
At least a 4.5 rating
PREMIUM IS PREFERRED
Willing to play all 3 games from each round at one time.
Bracket/Player Structure:
16 players for now, Also I will be taking reserves, however reserves will have to sign up individually instead of as a team, due to the tournament set-up, after the tournament has begun.
With 16 players there will be 3 rounds total and if you win it all you will win at least 6 games total throughout.

somehow i missed that.

the requirement of signing with a partner, only to lose them next round might be putting some people off.

if you drop that requirement & let us signup as individuals i'll play, otherwise put me down as a reserve.

I was considering that, I figured I would test the waters first to see what people would do, but I think I may let people enter as either.

It's looking like it will be cut back to 16 players, unless there is a sudden spark of interest.
