Celtic Spirit (16/16) FULL

A bheil thu gu thu gu bhith deiseil ?

This is my first tournament - so limiting to 16 player and 2 reserves. This will be done on a knockout basis,- 1v1, playing four maps in each round.

Type - 1 v 1
Maps - Alba (Scotland), Eire (Ireland), Cymru (Wales) and Celtic Nations.
Deployment - automatic
Order - sequential
Troops - no spoils
Reinforcements - adjacent.
Game Play - normal - no trench no fog

As there are four maps, if there is a tie 2 maps a piece - there is a sting in the tail. Unlike say the Romans with the strategic and defensive warfare (e.g. the phalanx), the Celts fought in a manner that was simply aggressive and fearless (at times reckless). To this end if the round is tied 2 each, the victor will be the player who won their games in the fastest number of rounds. So it may favour the aggrerssor rather than safe sterile by the percentages game play. In the unlikely event the number if rounds is also tied, tie-breaker will be another game of Celtic Nations.
This rule will not apply in final. If both games tied, then quickest to the wins, has the choice of the four maps for the decider. Again if rounds also tied it will be Celtic Nations.
All other normal tournament rules apply.

Make sure that you list all of the settings. So, you still need to put troop deployment (Automatic or Manual), Fog or No Fog, Trench or No Trench.

What if the games in the same round number? What is the tiebreaker then?

If round is 2 games each - overall victor is the player who won their 2 games in the least number of rounds. If a tie-breaker in final, the player who had the quickest wins - has the choice out of the four maps for a 5th game and decider.

Yes, I understand that's what you want to do. Here is the issue: both players win in the same number of rounds. What is the tiebreaker then?

Ah, unlikely but in that situation another Celtic Nations as tie-breaker.

Ok, so change the first post to update the settings I mentioned earlier and the new tiebreak procedure. After that, I can put this in the database.

No problem. You still need to update the settings.

Manual or Automatic?
Fog or No Fog?
Trench or No Trench?
