I've lived in New England my entire life and while 20 degrees is quite comfortable for me, -20 sucks ass, especially in a country setting. I'm actually much more comfortable in Florida in the middle of the summer(my uncle lives down there) but the congestion of people gets to me. My agreement with extreme hot weather as opposed to cold probably has to a lot to do with my being a pretty skinny person but most people I know who have grown up in New England are indeed miserable when it gets really hot and humid so for the most part I agree with your statement Lootifer.
