Shouldn't all diplomacy be discussed in game chat for non team games? Sounds like secret diplomacy to me.

you are perfectly allowed to write on an opponent's wall "check game chat" to make sure they read your message if that's what you're talking about, if not you're just trolling again. Diplomacy in gamechat is part of the game.

Nawh. We figured that the Cup's been up for quite some time, so we started it shortly after the last one finished (ideally, the next one starts as soon as the last one ends! )

How do we check on the status of the tournament? Is there a grid somewhere we can see results, who's out, who's in? what current games are going on?

there's a button in the menu on the left of your screen that says 'Conquer Cup'.... lots of information there.

Why is there one player that is still waiting to advance from round 1? Did they start the Cup without the proper number of players?

To my knowledge, about halfway around round 1, somebody's game got corrupted and it's messed things up. If it doesn't fix itself, I'll do my best to fix it manually.

nope. your format was just not valid.525 players, round 1 with 5 player games round 2 with 4 player games, had to be 524 players round 2. that guy will probably have to suck it up... also this is going to be all messed up with 524; divided by 4 is 131 ect ect...
you're going to face some massive problems for starting the tournament with 525 players.. you need to create games for losers to make them back in the tournament.

525 players start 105 five-player games. The 105 winners advance to Round 3 where the 420 losers advance to Round 2 where they play 105 four-player games. Round 3 will have 210 players which does not set up for an even number of 4 player games. Don't see how that left the one player left over in Round 1 though.

well, given that all round 1 players advance to a 4 player game (round 2 or round 3), 524 is the multiple and 525 leaves 1 behind!
but yeah half of what I said in my previous post is false, forgot about the round 2/3 thing.

anyway, good luck to mods to solve the huge mess comming up!!
