I do like spicy stuff for sure so when I go I'll make a point to try them.

One of the early trips there I ordered the Jalapeños on my burger, they are fresh not pickled. Whew! Warm.

I don't think so. Or at least, I've never noticed it.

I'm sure it affects them but they don't taste like peanuts or peanut butter. If you get Cajun style the dry spice is pretty much the main flavour.
