Welcome to the eighth tournament based around the Great Community Map Project. I hope you will take the time to head on over and have a look. A lot of fun is going to be had with medals galore being handed out in competitions. :D

Tournament format. Single Elimination.
There will be Five maps used this tournament.
Classic
Age of Realms 2
Supermax: Prison Riot
Antartica
Circus Maximus

These are based off the poll options in the Community Map thread. (Go and vote! :))

Settings: Automatic, Sequential, Escalating, Chained, No Trench, Sunny, 20 Rounds.
This tourny will be open to all members, as long as one slot is kept open. (That means you freemiums!) [If freemiums are playing, I will send out one game at a time to them, unless they can handle more.]

All games are 1v1's

There will be four brackets of players, 16 in each bracket. Here is how the brackets will play out:

Each Bracket will play as follows, separate from each other, until one remains from each bracket:

Round 1:
Maps: Classic, AoR2, Supermax
16 players will be randomly assigned one game each map. Winners move to round two

Round 2:
Map: AoR2, Supermax, Antartica
8 players will be randomly assigned one game each map. Winners move to round three

Round 3:
Map: Supermax, Antartica, Circus Maximus
4 players will be randomly assigned one game each map. Winners move to round four

Round 4:
Maps: Classic, AoR2, Supermax, Antartica, Circus Maximus
2 players play head to head in a five game series, whoever wins 3 or more moves to semi-finals!

Then the winners of Round 4 from each bracket will move to semi-finals:

Semi-Finals:
Maps: Classic, AoR2, Supermax, Antartica, Circus Maximus
Two winners of bracket 1 and 2 will play against each other. Two winners from bracket 3 and 4 will play against each other. Each will play in a 5 game series, each map played once!

Then there will only be two players left:

Finals:
Maps: Classic, AoR2, Supermax, Antartica, Circus Maximus
The two winners from the semi-finals will play each other. They will play in a 10 game series, each map played twice! If a tie occurs, one of the five maps will be randomly selected and a eleventh tie-breaker will be played
