Just lower the neutral to a 3. Brings them into play.

I think that's a good start. Do that and see how the gameplay works out from there. Maybe change more later.

I'll say that I'm in a doubles game where the neutrals were in play with them being 4.

could we try to change the n4 of capitals to n3?
I think this could helps to integrate them more to game.

i also support reducing each capital's starting neutrals to n3 and, if this doesn't have the desired effect, to n2 later.

I am for changing it and trying it out. Do we need multiple input in order to do it? If anyone wants to play a 1 v 1 on this map send me an invite and we'll give it a go.

You don't have to post it there, I check this forum regularly. :) Plus, it's such a small update.

I tried to look/download Giligans xml but I got this notice:
"Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /files/2008/11/14/2187148/Frag.xml on this server."

where can I find current xml and do these small updates?

You can either keep trying as it is a Fileden (the web server Gilligan uses) problem. The best bet is for everyone to attach the XML to the thread when you post the update.

You need to save it as .xml not .txt

If you can't save it as .xml, you can download the Notepad++ which is free and you will be able to save it as .xml

I'm getting a Praha and 4 town bonus in a game, and I don't hold Praha. Perhaps this is a glitch in the game engine? The XML file in play looks ok.

I think it's always the same BOB issue we already reported to the Tech guys. Look here: viewtopic.php?f=527&t=161049&start=240#p4090687
Maybe ender516 is the right guy to contact about it. ;)

Ah, you're right. I never actually pulled the bonus, it was just highlighted. Thanks!

while we're waiting for the update to appear, have u thought about the words that u want to show in the game finder? although fragmentation of csfr is technically correct, i think this is an unattractive name, since over 90% of players will not know what csfr is before they play this map. is czecho-slovak fragmentation any better for the game finder (but keeping the old title on the map itself)? players who are looking for a czech map will easily find czecho-slovak fragmentation, while those interested in slovakia might guess that it's part of a czecho-slovakia map. in a list of 200 maps, very few players will think of looking for something starting with f.

I don't think the title should have a comma in it.

Name change to me doesn't matter one way or another but I think it should be without the comma.

Could also do "Fragmentation of Czecho-Slovakia"
