Re: Check boxes on Game Finder Page

There are similar, if not the same, suggestions to this floating out there. When I'm not on my phone, I'll try to find them.

I do think that something like this, along with other ways to make joining games and accepting invites easier, should definitely be done. I think this even more when I think about mobile gameplay.

Yep, good one. The easiest way to do it now I find is to right click and open in a new tab al the games I want to join. Just means closing multiple tabs at the end of it.

And again, this can't be done with a mobile device.

On some devices (at least android and iOS) you can hold down the link, which brings up a contextual menu which allows you to open the link in a new tab. It's really bulky and undesirable, I know, but technically functional.

Starting and Joining Multiple Games.

Postby pinkrose2012 on Thu Feb 28, 2013 12:22 am

Starting and Joining Multiple Games.

Concise description:
  • I think it would be nice if we could start more than one game at a time when creating the same type of game. Also when Joining games, I think it would be nice to have an "option" to "join all" when more than one of the same game type pop up in search. Instead of joining and having to hit the back button each time to keep joining more.

Specifics/Details:
  • A option to create "x" amount of a certain game at once. Instead of one at a time. An option to join all of the same type of game at once.

How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
  • I think this would make it faster and more enjoyable for players to start and join games. Just an idea.

I just right click on the join button, and click "open in a new tab".

Create a game, click refresh, it'll make another game :) But I agree it should be a site feature!

Here is one suggestion: viewtopic.php?f=535&t=119007

And here is the other: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=126669

Would it be ok with you if we merged your thread into one of those?

Accept all button in game invites

Postby therev1957 on Sat May 04, 2013 2:54 pm

put a accept all button in game invites...I just got 10 invites from one tournament and each time you accept an invite it takes you out of the thread then you have to go back in and do it again and again and again! So either change that or add an accept all invite button

Code: Select all
10:53:35 ‹cooldeals› My only suggestion is don't allow an accept all button to accept speed turns since you have them both as possibilities

You can't be invited to speed games right now... But yes, if you could be invited to speed games, I think that's a good thought.

I support 90% of the suggestions in this thread. I don't support a "Join All" button... I think that the combination of farmers sending invites and careless people accepting them without thinking is a potentially dangerous situation.

Other than that one, there are many great ideas.

Allow us to cancel erroneous invites? Hell, YES!

Display timer on invites to opponents? Hell, YES!

Allow 48 and 72 hour invites for tournament games? Hell, YES!

Allow 15-minute invites for speed games? Hell, YES!

Allow us to accept invites without leaving the invite page? Hell, YES!

Enable inviting all the players in one game simultaneously from a batch file?Hell, YES!

Enable cloning an invite list to multiple games? Hell, YES!

I am fairly certain that we will not have a simple "Accept All" button. So, this should not be as much of an issue. Just to alleviate concerns.

all these suggestions sound like a plan.
would make tourneys soooo much easier and hasslefree to run.

and i agree with not having an accept all button. as little a chance as it has i'd still like to make my stance on it known.

It's been over 3 years...why is this not implemented yet? Why does it take me 29 clicks instead of 1 to accept 15 invitations?
