Updates 10/10/13 - Polymorphic, Parachutes, Medals and Clans

Greetings Conquer Clubians!

You may have sniggered at whamBot, you may have glanced askance at our refreshed logo, you have even inquired politely about perhaps getting some new options for the serious player, dammit!!!

Well, if you consider yourself a brilliant strategist, and have longed bemoaned the randomness inherent in our 1v1 game, today is your day. Without further ado, let me introduce...

Polymorphic Games

Played in the style of Team Games, Polymorphic Games allow 1 player to take multiple armies into battle. Currently Polymorphic supports 2 players, waging war with 2, 3 or 4 sets of armies each. Polymorphic implements this suggestion.

Note: Polymorphic is a Premium Option only. It is truly a great game for the type of serious game player we like to support here at the Club, and we hope you would also support us!


There are more new features

  • Parachute Reinforcements- This option allows you to reinforce troops via parachute (i.e. from dislocated territories). We have found that this setting works extremely well with Polymorphic/Team games and Fog! Implements this suggestion.
  • 5 New Medals - Battle Royale, Bot, Beta Map, Polymorphic, Community Achievement. See the Medals Page for details. Note that the Beta Map medal will not be applied retroactively, however all other medals will be and any medals due will be issued the next time you win any game. These medals implement many separate suggestions submitted by members in the Suggestions Forum.
  • Clan Page Updates - Thanks to the incredible work of the Clan Directors, Leehar and chemefreak, we have recorded the entire history of CC Clan Warfare, and you can now view details of every Clan War, as well as enhanced details about every Clan on their own Clan Page - see the Main Clan Page.

For the Beta Medal, does it go by game start date or end date?

Yeah, but what if you start a game on a beta map, and when the game finishes, it is no longer in beta? Will it count?

Yes. If the map is beta when it starts, it will count for the medal.

So, is it just one troop(s) drop to any terit? It might also be cool to also have unlimited Paratroop.

Yawn. When will the record numbers of members logged in be beaten after 4 years and more?

How many businesses get their customers to do most of the work for free? Great to be CC shareholder.

P.S. I would also note that it is nearly impossible for any recent member to get a platinum medal are there are hardly enough unique members to beat. The club is run by, and for, a hard core clique, period.

The number of public games posted here will drop dramatically when my premium expires

I can't wait to try out this Polymorphic setting. Why is it called polymorphic though? Not that I have a better suggestion..... :)
