Bob - Ajax and D-Day map

Postby General Murdock on Thu Oct 18, 2007 11:55 am

I don't know if this has been answered yet...if it has, my apologies. I've been playing w/ Bob v 1.2 and loving it. My thanks! But now I'm playing the D-Day map and nothing shows up. I then disable Bob and it shows up, but I'm flying blind as a bat in that map. I've downloaded Bob v 2.0 and still the same thing. Is it w/ that map or something else? I've been playing w/ v. 1.2 w/ other maps, no problem. Any advice or fix is appreciated. My thanks!

BOB 2.0 works fine for me on D-Day

BOB 2.0 utilizes a D-Day fix to BOB 1.2 that was hosted by Coleman.

You might need to do a Ctrl-F5 to clear your cache.

OR

You might just need to switch your AJAX setting back to Yes.

EDIT: Another reason for your blank map on 2.0 is the Map Opacity. You may need to click on this setting (under Bob Menu).

Aerial (or anyone) - could you please post a link to BOB v2.0?
I am using 1.2 and can't seem to find 2.0 anywhere on the forum.

Thanks!

It's this thread Coding AJAX-compatible GM scripts, so BOB 2.0 and AJAX BOB are one and the same.

To get the actual script, you need to click on Yeti_c's signature or just go here

Great thanks!

I guess AJAX BOB lost the highlighting a player's territories functionality, but that is a small price to pay to be able to use BOB on D-Day!
