suggestion: 9 player option

well obviosly it'd be stupid for a free for all, but it would essentialy be the same a a 3 player game, with 3 minds playing each part. would be best for world 2.1 and the likes...

well ok let me restart.

Its a good idea, though we're just pushing the limit on number of people per game. People can then argue for quintuples or 5 double team games. I also don't think that the time it would take to play a game would be appealing. i started a sequential 8 player game 3 or 4 days ago and it wasn't until late yesterday when i was able to take my first turn.

Theory's good, but i don't think it'll be popular among the fanbase

Next you'll suggest 10 player games and 11 then 12 then 13 and so on.

hey, it was just a thought thrown out for discussion... I don't play teams OR games with more than 4 players (most the time, I do want to try a quad game though...) I don't want, it was just an idea.

I will no longer be using this thread, so you don't need to direct posts at me.

3 vs 3 vs 3 would be wicked, but...... i dont see that happening for some time.... we must appreciate the piece of pie we've been given, because if we eat the whole pie all at once, we wont have an opportunity to cherish every single god damn bite :-)

The problem with more players is that the colours get more confusing.

It has been sugested it would it take a bunch of coding to do.

Concise description:

add a couple more options to the max # of players allowed

Specifics:

I'd like to see 12 and it works with all the current game types, 12 singles, 6 doubles teams, 4 triples teams, 3 quad teams.
increments would be fine.

I think one of the new maps (New World) has 9 starting positions so 9 players might be good for that one. Can't see it working for the smaller maps though.
