Slots Per Player
Fog of War
In a standard game each player fends for himself and there is only one winner.
Regions are randomly distributed at the start of the game and each region starts with three troops.
A player is selected at random to go first and then subsequent players follow in turn. During a team game the play order alternates between the teams.
At the end of your turn if you have conquered at least one region you get 'spoils.' Once you have three of the same color (or three different) these can be traded in at the start of your turn for bonus troops. Escalating Spoils indicates that each set traded in will be worth more than the previous. The first set is worth 4 bonus troops. Then 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 20, 25 etc. If you own any of the regions that you trade in you get two bonus troops on those regions.
At the end of your turn you can reinforce once from one region to another (they must share a border).
Fog of War
Fog of War masks enemy positions that are not adjacent to your forces (or your team's forces). It also masks region and zone names in the log
You can only assault from regions held since the start of your turn. If you conquer a region during your turn you cannot assault from it until your next turn.
Each player has up to 24 hours to complete a turn. You will get an email notification when it is your turn to play.
42 Territories, 6 Continents, Min Reinforcements: 3

2006-01-04 09:13:21 - spaCeKraft: when does your turjn end
2006-01-04 09:14:05 - spaCeKraft: i'm going to lose all my armies before anyone else makes any moves
2006-01-04 16:50:50 - lackattack: poor spacekraft, you get one turn every 24 hours. pace yourself!
2006-01-05 02:33:51 - hernando cortez: you can only get one turn every 24 hours is there a way to speed that up
2006-01-05 22:23:46 - lackattack: it only speeds up if everyone takes their turn before 24hrs are up
2006-01-05 23:17:57 - hernando cortez: i know my sugggestions my seem like complaints but i am truely appreciative of the service
2006-01-06 07:47:31 - spaCeKraft: not true lackattack, you get indefinite turns
2006-01-06 07:48:58 - spaCeKraft: i think that these message boxes should automatically scroll to the last inputted message
2006-01-06 07:50:00 - spaCeKraft: oh, and lackattack, don't think i don't realize what's going on with congo
2006-01-06 09:47:30 - FloOo: yup, there's been some civil war out there... ;)
2006-01-07 07:17:07 - lackattack: i appreciate any feedback cuz that way i learn what people like and don't
2006-01-07 07:18:12 - lackattack: hernando, move those mexicans back to venezuela and we can have a pan-america alliance
2006-01-07 19:57:31 - hernando cortez: on the topic of moving troops i found in one game it wouldnt let me move troops from east africa to north africa. It might be a bug
2006-01-07 20:00:34 - hernando cortez: lacky i am the least of your problems in north america . I'm not advanceing that force but i dont want your massive army any closer to my border right now
2006-01-07 20:01:59 - hernando cortez: also we should be able to boot people lik malinko, homeboy hasnt taken one turn and is really slowing the game down. If you dont make a move by the 3rd or fourth round you should be done
2006-01-07 21:59:21 - FloOo: i'd rather have a settable turn timeout, like for Fortifications, Sequential, ...
2006-01-08 22:49:11 - lackattack: yeah malinko is a deadbeat.
2006-01-08 22:50:22 - lackattack: i was thinking about email notification each round (it could be turned off in your profile page). that would maybe help new people realize that they have to come back and play. but would it be too annoying? i don't want to spam
2006-01-08 22:53:11 - lackattack: FloOo, trashknob made the same suggestion too. i'm going to look into variable round lengths. it might take a while to program
2006-01-08 23:48:45 - hernando cortez: i am not a big fan of the email notification idea. i turned off one of those options already. i think people want as few emails a possible
2006-01-09 04:27:13 - FloOo: email notification for each turn would be quite like spam, to me...
2006-01-09 04:28:16 - FloOo: you should make this website open-source, i can program the settable round length if you want
2006-01-10 02:47:53 - lackattack: btw, i fixed the east africa to north africa bug
2006-01-10 02:57:47 - lackattack: thanks for reporting it, hernando
2006-01-10 03:06:45 - lackattack: i'm a big fan of open source, and i want to contribute back to the community, but if i open this code someone else could start a conquer club and compete with mine.
2006-01-10 03:06:53 - lackattack: but thanks for the offer :-)
2006-01-10 07:50:48 - spaCeKraft: yo lackattack, can't move my armies from congo to egypt
