I agree that doing it 5 times seems a bit over the top. Obviously the TO did not come up with the 1 point for surviving so that players would kill the wrong target. But again, can you blame a player for going for the 1 point? I guess the 1 point for surviving was not really a good idea.

I feel I have to weigh in here: If you get 1 point for staying alive, can you really blame a player in a desperate situation to stay alive?

What do you mean with cc tournaments? The Poly Championships have 3 rounds before players get eliminated, for example.

Yeah, I was more just thinking out loud i guess, I was suggesting having 2 separate tournament trophies distinguishing a win for a long winded tournament, vs just a simple quick tournament. Like maybe a platinum trophy instead of gold. But the more I think about it, I doubt there would be anyone ...

maybe it's too late in conquer club timeline, but i was thinking, it would be nice to have a 2nd tier tournament trophy. i don't know if it's already been pondered before. but i was just sitting there thinking because i just started an idea for a tourney and it's like 7 tournaments wrapped up in 1 ...

Congratulation to Begbie for winning the tournament.
He had a great final and started the final in 6th position, but since the 3 leaders going into the final did not have a good final, the tournment was up for grab and Begbie grab it with both hands :)

Also congrats to dkmaster for winning the GA ...

Then the tournament was finished, I enjoyed it, and I will probably host a V2 of the tournament in the future, maybe I will tweak it a bit, but I have to think about that.
