Note that one of the reasons for the bigger league sizes was that new players could move up to the premier faster.
With max 2 promotions (the 6 up 6 down option) that goes hardly faster, especially if you take into account that it will be twice as difficult to win a league.

I voted YES, increase the league size to 20 for all leages.
Why: it's more natural to have the same leagues sizes for all leagues, and new players can reach the top sooner.

About promotion / relegation:
I agree with Craig's idea:
League winner gets 3 leagues promotion
2nd gets 2 leagues promotion ...

About CUP long term: I think it's too early to decide about that: we're in round 1 of estimated 16 rounds. Let's first see how this evolves.

Suppose we run another cup after this one, then I think 10 promotions is still ok: only one player gets a 10 league promotion once every 10 ...

So far 21 matches have ended in 3-0 and 47 have ended in 2-1. That's 68 matches in total = 136 players, who finished their first round.
Therefore the maximum likelihood estimator (for the real statistics geeks;) of the elimination percentage per round is 21 / 136 = 15%, or 85 ...

But... for real-time data we rely on the Conquer Club API (Application Programmer Interface). Unfortunately the start player of a game is not included in this API.
