Yeah, that's the most confusing thing for me right now when doing team games. I have to decipher who's on my team and who isn't on my team. Rather...how you say...cryptic. So some way of noting who's on your team visually would be sweet.

If it isn't scrapped, adding a note on the Speed Game saying "x more minutes until erased" or something like that would be very nice. That way people who have already joined and people who may want to join know the amount of time left to join, and either will re-create on erase (in the former case ...

I like the idea, though the territory distribution is similar to Conquerman. Also, heftier image editing will make it a win-win. I'm working on my own map in PhotoShop, and all that I've done with it just isn't possible in Paint.

That would be a coding nightmare. And then once it's coded, testing every time a game is created to see if it matches another one of the 1000's of games going will create a hefty server load.

Another thing I've noticed in my short tenure on CC is that a number of Premium people start 3-4 games with ...

We've got one map called Madness which has a house theme, another map called The Cube that's an advanced idea presently, and the rather generic continents leave something to be desired.

So my question is, how will your map be different from what already exists?

I'm using Photoshop CS2 for my image editing. I'm very familiar with the interface, and doing all the graphics effects I want is do-able. If you can get your hands on an academic version of Photoshop Elements, you'll likely get a good bit of software for cheap.

And if the paragraph above didn't ...

Come on, be an optimist. Overworked coders seem to never make any progress, but then you suddenly see 5 great changes get implemented at once. A good portion of coding folk like having a full section of stuff "finished" and debugged before putting them all up.

Aren't all Final Forge maps stickied if they're not Quenched? I can understand archiving abandoned maps in the hopes that somebody sees it and does it the right way, but archiving Quenched maps would be an unnecessary additional workload considering that you can tell Final Forge from Quenched as it ...

Yes, let us feed the addiction. Personally I keep as many games going as I feel like playing at the time. Right now, that's 10. Also, I don't want to start any games right yet. Most players make a game of the style I want anyway, so that's not much of a worry.

If this was put into the game, I would ...

I agree in some respects... however some suggestions are changes to the actual engine itself - instantly I'm thinking "Zombie Neutrals"...

Also - If lack were to define the inputs and outputs - then he might also have to make them more secure... obviously one of the flows is to/from random.org ...

Just based on what pages you visit when you make attacks, look at current game status, etc., the language he's using is PHP, likely with a backbone MySQL database. Very common on all the browser-based online games.

Keeping the engine secret is for good reason, but one thing Lack could do if he got ...
