[Feedback Request] New Round Limits? (NEW POLL)

Based on feedback collected by our Community Manager and game stats (only 0.1% of games make it to round 100) I propose that we switch up the round limits to make them more flexible. The new limits would be:

None, 20, 30, 40, 50

Any 100 Round Limit games would be converted to 50 (so far that won't ...

Remember the good old days when I did all the multi hunting myself? You would always be sending me suspects in private and almost all of the time they came up guilty in my "multi hunting tool". You were the ultimate informant ;-)

With round limits, the game will automatically finish at the end of the specified round. The winner will be the surviving player with the most troops. What about team games? Is the winner decided by total amount of troops of the team, or does the team that has the "winning player" win?

If troop numbers are equal it is somewhat arbitrary that the game creatoir wins, surely we can have a draw in this situation (no points for anyone)?

For a couple of months now there has been a lockup of games when the dice history is crunched each morning at around 5:10am CC Time. I managed to reduce the lockup period from a couple minutes to about 30 seconds. I will have to take down the database sometime and de-fragment the dice history data ...

I just fixed a longstanding bug where skipping to a page number in game finder results using Internet Explorer will give an error. I also fixed a similar bug in the Conquer Club API.

I cant play speed games anymore because the join a speed game page takes forever to load, and i have about 4 seconds of lag between anything that i do.


EDIT: when I ping CC, i get about 74ms of lag

Hm... I can speed up the join a speed game page but then it will show only public speed games. I ...
